Cathedral favorite machine old stitched updating window
Fold and press each corner down, doing your best to do it as evenly as possible.
Once you have your corners pressed down, stitch the just the tip of each corner in place.
Sew a scant 1/4" seam along that raw edge where the diamond is - not the opposite side! Place your center square in the middle of the diamond.
Fold the edges of your diamond down carefully to create curves over top of the center square, just as you did with the cathedral geese.
There tends to be a bit of a problem trying to justify having SO much tiny little bits of fabric, and cathedral window squares give me a great excuse!!!
Now, you are going to want to fold your square in half, with the ironed down edges facing out.Your Fabric B will start to turn itself into a diamond shape.Make sure to pull your diamond out and finger press the diamond edges, but don't worry about pressing with your iron just yet. Close your four-patch/diamond unit onto itself, right sides together, and be sure to line up that center seam.Friday Oct 20 through Monday Oct 23, 2017- Free Admission- "It's a Jungle Out There" Challenge Entries- Viewers' Choice Awards- 2017 Raffle Quilt "Tranquility"Certified Quilt Appraiser Mary Kerr, available by appointment.Show Location: John Musante Porter Memorial Library2001 Parkway Blvd.
